Loose or Missing Pool Tiles
Tiles that pop off at the waterline or on the steps usually mean the wrong adhesive was used for constant water exposure. Left alone, one loose tile becomes a whole section. We rebed them properly and stop the spread.
Crumbling or Stained Grout
Salt, chlorine and unbalanced water break down standard cement grout, leaving joints open to water. We rake out the old grout and replace it with pool-rated epoxy that holds up for years.
White Lines and Calcium Build-Up
White crusty lines on pool tiles are calcium deposits, often caused by water getting behind tiles. They're a warning sign, not just a cleaning problem. We find the source and fix it.

Glass mosaic is the most popular choice. It’s non-porous, resists staining and gives that classic shimmer. Pool-rated porcelain and ceramic are great value alternatives. Travertine and sandstone suit coping and surrounds. Whatever the tile, the adhesive and grout matter just as much.
Can you tile over pebblecrete?
Yes, in most cases. We grind back and prepare the pebblecrete, render where needed and then tile, so the new tiles bond properly. We check the pool shell first to make sure it’s sound.
Do you handle waterproofing as well as tiling?
Yes. Waterproofing is part of what we do, not an afterthought. All wet areas we tile are waterproofed in line with Australian Standard AS 3740, and pools are waterproofed with pool-rated systems before tiling.
